Swing door with architrave
The swing door with frame is undoubtedly the most widely used door. The door opens on a vertical axis using visible or invisible hinges. When opening, a clearance of at least 90° is required over a radius corresponding to the width of the door. Doors can be single- or double-leaf, flat-edged or casement.
Frame-mounted swing door with visible frame
Unlike the classic door, where a sash covers the entire thickness of the wall, this is a door where the frame is still visible. It can be placed flush with the wall or centered in the opening. Once the door is flush with the wall, it gives a contemporary effect with clean lines. Thanks to its high level of finish, this type of door is much sought-after by interior designers. This solution is ideal for renovations.
Frame-mounted swing door with concealed frame
Invisible framed doors are installed with an aluminum frame which, thanks to its special profile, is covered with plaster, making it completely invisible. Only a small shadow gap reveals the door. It is also possible to conceal the door in interior cladding or cover it with the same material as the walls, for example. The composition of this door includes a number of technical features such as a pre-frame, invisible hinges and magnetic hardware... The frame must be installed before the plaster or plasterboard is applied.
Full-height swing doors
Flush hinged doors are also available in a full-height format, i.e. the door extends from the floor to the ceiling. No need for a lintel. Both types of frame-mounted door already feature invisible hinges integrated directly into the frame.
SPECIAL DOORS
Firestops
When a door is "fire-rated", its purpose is to combat the spread of a fire and protect people from the spread of smoke and toxic gases. There are different levels of fire protection, and their use depends on the building's purpose.
Climate
A climatic door is an insulated door generally used between a heated and unheated room.
Leaded
The use of a leaded door is very specific. In particular, it is used in the medical sector to protect against radiation.
