Another school created by La Parqueterie!
Once again, a solid parquet called “industrial parquet” or “slat on edge” was chosen for this public space. Some classrooms have also been covered with “end wood”, a parquet that is quite rare nowadays. End wood is simply an installation technique that involves laying parquet in the other direction than normal, whereas conventional parquet planks are cut into the length of the tree and placed horizontally. The end wood, on the other hand, is placed in the direction of the width. This gives the parquet exceptional resistance, to the point where this coating is also used as wood outside.
New school by La Parqueterie! Solid “industrial” parquet and rare “end wood” chosen for exceptional aesthetics and resistance.
