Made-to-measure walk-in wardrobe with hinged doors
Hinged-door wardrobes are the best-known custom-made wardrobes, and in our opinion the most effective. It involves covering storage units with doors, often at full height. A hinged-door dressing room doesn't prevent you from being creative: you can choose from noble materials such as wood, or cover the doors with leather, for example.
A niche, a mirror door or LED backlighting can also be incorporated into the dressing room. Finally, whether you prefer push-to-open, visible or inlaid handles, everything is possible.
Dressing room with glass
In reality, a walk-in wardrobe can be built in a thousand different ways, but when it comes to glazed walk-in wardrobes, we can boil it down to two types: the glass hinged-door walk-in wardrobe, which is the better-known of the two, or the walk-in wardrobe consisting of a glazed partition behind which powder-coated aluminum closets are visibly built.
Wardrobe with sliding doors
The sliding-door walk-in wardrobe is the variant of the swing-door walk-in wardrobe, but with doors that slide along a track fixed to the floor and ceiling. The doors overlap to leave an opening. Sliding-door wardrobes are less customizable, however, as it's difficult to integrate niches or original handles, for example.
Open dressing room
As the name suggests, an open dressing room is a dressing room without doors, often built into a separate room and closed by a door. It's efficient and economical because there are no doors or hardware to integrate into the project.
Dressing room with island
Whether your dressing room has hinged or sliding doors, is located in a separate room or is an integral part of a suite, an island can be very practical. For example, it allows you to separate your clothes from your underwear or accessories. An island can also provide a work surface for folding a piece of furniture or placing a laundry basket, for example. There are many choices for the composition of your island.
